Live Active Leisure is a ""not for profit"" Company Limited by guarantee with charitable status established in 1965. The Company owns and / or operates a range of sports, leisure, recreational and community facilities including Perth Leisure Pool, Bell's Sports Centre, Live Active Aberfeldy, Strathearn Recreation Centre (within Strathearn Community Campus), Live Active Letham, Live Active Blairgowrie, Live Active Rodney, Live Active Atholl, Live Active Loch Leven as well as community use of Community School of Auchterarder and GD Athletics Arena. LAL also manages and operates the community use of lesiure facilities within the local authority's community campuses in Kinross, Perth, Crieff,Blairgowrie and Aberfeldy.Services are provided on behalf of Perth & Kinross Council under a contract monitored by the Council's Education and Children's Services. |

The Company was established in the 1960's to provide and to assist in providing, in the interests of social welfare, recreational facilities and leisure time occupation for members of the public with the object of improving the condition of life of the inhabitants of the Perth and Kinross area.The Company also erects and operates community sports centres, swimming pools, sports pavilions, changing accommodation and any other sports and recreational community or leisure facilities through out Perth and Kinross and co-operates with and assists persons or organisations involved in the provision of facilties. |
