Provide or assist in the provision for recreation or other leisure time occupation in the interests of social welfare for the general public and in particular in connection with the local authority area of The City of Glasgow as defined in the Local Government etc (Scotland) Act 1994 with the object of improving the conditions of life for the Community.Provide, whilst providing or assisting the provision of such facilities for the Community, special facilities for persons who by reason of their youth, infirmity or disability, poverty or social and economic circumstances may need special facilities and promote good health among the Community through education, healthy eating and standards of nutrition together with exercise and play. |
