Kirklees Active Leisure is the Charitable Trust responsible for the management, operation and development of sports and swimming facilities within the Kirklees district. Working in partnership with Kirklees Council, Kirklees Active Leisure is a progressive organisation and strives to achieve excellence in all areas of work. |

Kirklees Active Leisure provides -- Leisure Management Services including facilities management and service delivery,- sports development,- marketing services,- health and fitness management and- project management. Kirklees Active Leisure Trading provides -- Commercial services including bars, vending, catering and event management.Support services provision including finance, human resources and property services.IID consultancy support - Sales trainings and advice; Strategy/ operational consultancy and feasibility/ business planning; Monitoring and Evaluation; Mapping (across West Yorkshire); CRM advice and support; Membership; Market intelligence and analysis; Strategic Needs Assessment; Campaign design and delivery; Grant funding support; Facilities/ Service operation; etc. |

2009/10 and 2010/11- development of proposals for a £5m refubishment of Batley Sports and Tennis Centre. 2010/11 - £1m+ refubishment of Dewsbury Sports Centre. 2012/13 - new £35m+ Huddersfield Sports Centre completed, providing a fantastic major new sport and leisure experience to the Kirklees and wider West Yorkshire area. |
