| Description | Nexus Community is the new trading name for Wycombe Leisure Ltd.The company was formed in 1996 as an employee contraolled industrial and provident society for the benefit of the community.It runs leisure centres and services on behalf of four local authorities and several communilty groups/schools.Current partnerships are with West and South Oxfordshire District Councils, Chiltern District Council and South Bucks District Council. South Oxfordshire is operated via a partnership wth GLL. |
| Aims | Nexus Community aims to improve the quality of peoples' lives, directly through services operated, and indirectly by forming effective partnerships with other community and public bodies. Increasing participation in physical activity and improving health and social activity are key motivators. Ensuring financial stabiltiy whilst minimising our impact on the environment, and encouraging social responsibility are also important considerations. |
