The principle benefits of sporta membership:

  • Acting as a forum for members, identifying common issues and proposing collective solutions
  • Acting as a lobby group, representing the interests of cultural and leisure trusts and social enterprises

  • Promoting trusts and social enterprises as the best way of delivering community culture and leisure services

sporta members meet on a regular basis. A number of free seminars are organised for sporta members, which are rotated around the country. These meetings cover HR, Marketing, Operations, Finance, IT, Health & Fitness and Support Services.

Two General Meetings, an Annual General Meeting and regular meetings of the Executive also take place each year.
